The WSLA Alumnae Group is seeking three new board members. Board members are needed for the specific focus areas as shown below in I, II, and III.

I. GENERAL MEETING PROGRAMMING
Lead virtual general meeting sessions which are scheduled three times each year. This includes setting the schedule, providing topic content with guest speakers, facilitating the meeting, and managing meeting communications.

II. ALUMNAE ENGAGEMENT
Develop and manage an Engagement Program to include: Professional development such as a jobs board and other ideas. Support the newsletter committee to include open positions in newsletters and provide content to promote current projects and recognition of alumnae. Create networking platform for alumnae to facilitate meetups and enhanced communications.

III. MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM COORDINATION
This is a new WSLA initiative which will involve engaging women who have not yet been nominated and/or are not WSLA winners to grow a vibrant, inclusive community and assist members in networking and other opportunities.

Are you able to commit the time necessary to be a board member? How many hours per month are you available?

Board members are required to: ● Participate in four remote board meetings per year (1.5 hours each), ● Attend at least two of three remote General Meetings per year (2 hours each), ● Support fundraising efforts, and ● Give of their time and ideas to support the organization’s growth and development. This may include organizing and serving on future committees.
