Entries are open for the 2026 Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards
Recognizing the vision, courage, and impact of women leaders worldwide.
Each year, WSLA recognizes trailblazers from around the world whose leadership, courage, and innovation are shaping a more sustainable future.
Winners will become a member of the WSLA Alumnae Group: a dynamic network of past WSLA Awards winners with over 145 of the most influential women leaders creating a more sustainable world. The network assists with growing awareness, promoting advancement, and supporting the development of the next generation of female leaders.

Our definition of women is expansive and includes those who may identify as non-binary, genderqueer, gender-expansive, two-spirit, and otherwise do not exist within a gender binary.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRANTS INCLUDE:
Applications may be submitted by the candidate herself or by a nominator on her behalf. Whether you are nominating yourself or another, you will need to fill out the application and pay the application fee. Fees are listed below.
Eligible applicants must have:
Minimum 15 years of professional work experience
Minimum seven years of sustainability leadership
Minimum seven years managing people
Has made a significant contribution to the sustainability profession, creating a noteworthy, lasting, and positive impact to the planet
Values mentorship and guides other female leaders

A cover letter
1-3 letters of recommendation
