The 12th Annual Women In Sustainability Leadership Awards is now accepting applications!

Entries are open for the 2026 Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards

Recognizing the vision, courage, and impact of women leaders worldwide.

Each year, WSLA recognizes trailblazers from around the world whose leadership, courage, and innovation are shaping a more sustainable future.

Eligible applicants must have at least 15 years of professional experience, a minimum of 7 years in sustainability leadership, and a minimum of 7 years managing others. Applications may be submitted by the candidate herself or by a nominator on her behalf.

Winners will become a member of the WSLA Alumnae Group: a dynamic network of past WSLA Awards winners with over 145 of the most influential women leaders creating a more sustainable world. The network assists with growing awareness, promoting advancement, and supporting the development of the next generation of female leaders.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRANTS INCLUDE:

  • Minimum 15 years of professional work experience

  • Minimum seven years of sustainability leadership

  • Minimum seven years managing people

  • Has made a significant contribution to the sustainability profession, creating a noteworthy, lasting, and positive impact to the planet

  • Values mentorship and guides other female leaders
