Dominique serves as the Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of LA. The vision of sustainable buildings for all within this generation keeps her inspired to move sustainability forward in a holistic way. She is particularly interested in the intersections between high-performance, Net Zero buildings and health and wellness initiatives. Before joining the Mayor's Office of Sustainability, Dominique served as the executive director of the U.S. Green Building Council in Los Angeles for over five years.
Holley Henderson
LEED Fellow, Green Building Expert, Author, Consultant and Speaker, H2 Ecodesign
Holley is known as the Commonsense Environmentalist making sustainable choices that make sense for business. Prior to founding H2 Ecodesign, she was with TVS for 10 years and launched their green studio. She has led several firsts such as the first LEED-CI Platinum project in the US, first LEED-CI project in China and first LEED project in Thailand. Beyond buildings, H2 Ecodesign has collaborated with product manufacturers on their green path and creating internal/external communication and education. Currently, she is collaborating with Chemical Insights, an Institute of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. focused on air quality research. Holley has served several leadership volunteer roles including the Chair of the LEED-CI Core Committee, LEED Market Advisory Committee and LEED Steering Committee. Currently, she is the Chair of the IFMA ESUS Program Committee. Holley is the author of Becoming a Green Building Professional.
Nicole Isle
Chief Sustainability Strategist, Glumac
Nicole Isle is the Chief Sustainability Strategist at Glumac, a full-service MEP engineering firm specializing in the cost-effective sustainable design and operation of commercial, institutional, healthcare and advanced technology facilities worldwide. The firm utilizes energy, CFD, lighting and comfort models as well as equipment commissioning to identify and measure engineering strategies that achieve environmental goals and support occupant health. In her leadership role, Nicole enjoys and understands the importance of mentoring young professionals, so they may find satisfaction in their career pathways.
Susan King

In 2007 Susan F. King, FAIA, LEED AP BD+C became the third woman Principal at HED, a national firm founded in 1908. Her award-winning work includes buildings that integrate social, economic, and environmental responsibility with aesthetically appealing design solutions for underserved populations. King is an unrelenting advocate for attainable housing, green market, and diversity transformation of the building industry, and she is routinely invited to speak on these topics. King is a past Chair of the AIA Chicago Committee on the Environment and a past President of Chicago Women in Architecture. In 2013 she was the 18th woman from Illinois to be elevated to the National AIA College of Fellows.

Kathleen Smith
Vice President, Living Building Challenge, International Living Future Institute
Kathleen Smith, a LEED Fellow and nationally recognized expert in sustainable design, is Vice President of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI) leading the Living Building Challenge and Living Community Challenge, as well as the Institute’s Net Positive Water and Affordable Housing Initiatives. She is an architect by training with over 25 years of experience in sustainable design, construction and education. Prior to her current role, Kathleen served key positions in several organizations including: Ecosmith Architecture; AECOM; and VanderRyn Architects. Kathleen has worked on dozens of high-performance buildings. She's also collaborated with various institutions and agencies to develop policies and programs that have had far-reaching impacts in advancing green building beyond a single structure. A former LEED Faculty, she has lectured and taught extensively and is recognized as an inspiring and effective educator. She is the co-author of two books: Rebuilding Community in America and The Northwest Green Home Primer.

Liz York
Senior Advisor, Facilities Strategy and Innovation, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
Liz York, FAIA serves as Senior Advisor for Buildings and Facilities and previously served as Chief Sustainability Officer for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Liz brings innovation to facility policy and operations while implementing healthy, resilient, equitable work environments for CDC staff. She is a registered architect with a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture from Georgia Tech. Liz was instrumental in the development of FITWEL and authored the AIA Best Practice on Lactation Rooms. She leads through coaching, speaking, and writing on subjects including mentoring, diversity, health in design, and the triple bottom line.
